Uptime Challenge
A last-voice-standing contest in #uptime on QuakeNet: everyone gets a voice once, and whoever keeps it longest wins.
Overview
Uptime is an Eggdrop bot that runs #uptime on QuakeNet. In a round, every player gets a voice once; parting, quitting, a kick or losing the voice means out, and the last voiced player wins. Between rounds it tracks everyone's time in the channel, with records, monthly seasons, daily streaks and badges, and publishes it all on a live stats site.
Highlights
- Rounds with a countdown, live eliminations and a podium that scores season points
- Every session stored in SQLite; a netsplit never ends a session or a round
- Records, monthly seasons, daily streaks, 28 badges and 14 rankings
- Live round page: who is still alive, and who went out, when and why
